Components Monosaccharides Aminoacids Fatty acids and glycerol
Bonds Glycosidic bond Peptide bond Ester bond
Tests Adding Benedict’s solution and heating it. Adding water to the food and mixing it with dilute copper sulfate solution. Cutting the food and mixing it with ethanol and shaking it.
Funcions Needed for energy, mostly used in respiration. Making more cells,  haemoglobin, antibodies, needed for active transport. Insulators, storage of energy.
